The model behind the model

We want you to "know" the model.

We wanted to do an editorial/spread which portrays the difference between Jessica the girl, and Jessica the model.  Too often we see these lavish editorials which are all about the clothes but they rarely make a statement about who a model is and what it is she does.  We feel that models are often thought of as mannequins or dispensable.  We wanted to change that statement, we want the reader or viewer to get to know both sides of Jessica, show her being vulnerable and show her being a high fashion model.

We wanted to show the intense contrast by having both versions of her sitting down at a table getting to know each other.

We also want to incorporate the fact that even when model's are being "natural" or off duty, they are still models.  It's a lifestyle, it is not something they turn off, hence the name the model behind the model.
